Greg Eveland

Greg Eveland has a 30+ year track record of success, with notable expertise establishing business strategies, guiding M&A activities, managing organizational change and driving operational efficiencies within growth companies.  He has served as a senior executive under private equity and public ownership, and has industry experience in consumer products and distribution, including pharmaceuticals, biological products, medical supplies & devices, food sciences, animal health and fitness products.

As the COO of Animal Health International (NASDAQ: AHII), Greg grew the company’s annual revenues from $300 million to $700 million, increased EBITDA (as a percentage of revenue) by a factor of 3 and presided over the complete IPO process, along with two separate private auctions (Bain Capital and Charlesbank Capital Partners).  He managed more than a dozen successful acquisitions and completed over 25 corporate consolidations.  Other accomplishments during his 16 year tenure included developing a centralized procurement & distribution model, establishing international sourcing of key products in Europe, India and the Far East, restructuring sales & marketing organizations and cultivating lucrative new strategic partnerships.

Earlier in his career, Greg founded an animal health distribution business, Air Vet, that disrupted the prevailing business model by offering discounted pricing and express delivery via the FedEx Parts Bank in Memphis, TN.  In his 3 years as President, he grew the business from inception to $5 million in annual revenues, and successfully positioned the company for acquisition.

Greg spent the first 9 years of his career in various sales and marketing positions with Diversified Products, a large consumer products corporation with a specialty in sports and fitness products.  Greg has a BA in Business Administration from Vanderbilt University, and was a 4 year scholarship letterman on the football team.
